WorldAnimalFoundation.org is a privately-owned entity dedicated to promoting animal welfare. We are not a non-profit organization and do not hold any non-profit or tax-exempt status. As such, we do not accept or request donations or charities.
In the past, WorldAnimalFoundation used to be a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. However, it was later dissolved by the owner, and the domain name was put up for sale in a public auction. As there was no trademark on the domain name, this allowed us to legally compete in an auction to purchase it without any restrictions.
Detachment Disclaimer from the Previous History
We want to state it clearly that since acquiring the WorldAnimalFoundation.org name in 2022, we have started from scratch, without relying on any goodwill or leveraging any assets from the previous history. We have adopted this title because it flawlessly embodied our mission and values.
However, we have no association or attachment of any kind to the previous version of the site or the organization it once represented.
