On a freezing winter morning, the temperature had dropped to -2℃. Cold wind swept the streets like a silent predator. On the quiet sidewalk, a tiny white puppy lay all alone. His fur was dusty and tangled. His body was thin, and his eyes were full of sadness. He was only three weeks old and too weak to stand.
Slowly, he tried to move. Each step was small and shaky. His paws barely touched the ground. He looked up with her tired eyes, hoping someone would see him. Then, a man walking to the barbershop notices the little pup. His heart sank. The puppy was trying to crawl toward him, asking for help.
Without a second thought, the man gently picked him up and placed him into his empty shopping bag. The puppy stopped shivering. He knew he was safe now.
At home, the man gave him a warm bath. As the dirt washed away, soft golden-white fur appeared. He looked like a tiny snowball. The man wrapped him in a blanket and turned on the heater. Then he rushed to the store and brought back a bed, food, milk, and everything a small puppy might need.
After some rest, the puppy opened his eyes. He felt warm. He felt safe. The man prepared a fresh meal just for him. The puppy finished it in minutes. His tiny tail wagged with joy,
Days passed. The man fed him five times a day, but in portions. Slowly, the puppy got stronger. He wagged his tail whenever food came. He began to explore the house. He licked the man’s fingers with his soft tongue, showing his love.
Then the puppy met a new friend— another dog the man had rescued before. He wore a little light brown sweater and welcomed the puppy with joy. They played on the couch, followed each other around, and became the best of friends. They seemed to understand each other’s pain and now shared happiness.
Weeks went by. The puppy’s fur grew thicker. His eyes sparkled. He learned to climb couches, run across the floor, and play with toys. He even got his first toy bone from the man. He was surprised at first, but soon loved it.
One weekend, the man took both dogs to the park. It was the puppy’s first time on grass. He ran, jumped, and smiled with his whole body. At the vet, he bravely received the first vaccination. The doctor said he was perfectly healthy.
Three months later, the once-shivering puppy had grown into a beautiful, happy dog. He played, explored, and filled the home with joy. The man took them on a snowy mountain trip. There, the puppy ran through the snow, full of life.
He was no longer alone. He had found love, warmth, and a forever home.
