Kelly Smeby is a freelance writer specializing in pets and animals. She has written several articles about pet health, training, and behavior. Kelly has lived with many types of animals since early childhood. She’s lived with various dog breeds from German Shepherds, Beagles, Pit Bulls, and Pekingese. Kelly has also lived with multiple cats, birds, and fish. She’s learned how to deal with various animal-related problems from living with so many different pets.

Kelly currently lives in Florida with a two-year-old Pekingese and a cat and continues to learn new things from them every day.
